About
The Short Version
I'm Tony Degidio, a guy who gets really obsessed with building things.
My career didn't start with a degree, or a FAANG internship. It started with a dude I met playing World of Warcraft telling me that I would probably be naturally good at writing code ( shoutout Anthony! ). He hired me, and taught me the basics that shaped my entire career.
15 years later, I'm just having the time of my life building wild things in an R&D setting. I'm taking MVPs from napkin sketches to enterprise-wide adoption.
My path has never been conventional. Every role has been through some weird back channel: an obscure angellist.co ( RIP ) listing, a weird Craigslist post ( shoutout Michael! ), a conversation in Azeroth. People are often skeptical ( including my wife ), but then they see the work.
Beyond the Keyboard
Not just code.
I strive to be an overachiever in my role as husband and father to four kids who are smarter, cooler, and more fun than I could ever be.
I play guitar in Emo Night Live, an emo karaoke band where YOU get to be the star for your favorite emo/pop-punk/metalcore song. I built an entire software ecosystem to produce those shows — synced click tracks, lighting shows, scrolling lyrics for 80+ songs. Because OF COURSE I need to over-engineer my hobby.

- Startup-speed execution — regardless of org size, let's move like we are just getting started
- The "Is It Stupid?" Check — is the idea really sane or plausible to be successful? I've done a LOT of stupid things, I may have an answer to that
